SafeGamingSites earns affiliate commission when a reader clicks a link on our site, signs up at a casino, and makes a qualifying deposit. This is the same commercial model used by every major casino review site — from Casino.org to AskGamblers to casino.guru. Without it, we couldn’t afford to run the site.

How this affects our reviews

It doesn’t. Here’s how we keep affiliate income separate from editorial:

  • Ranking order is decided BEFORE we look at commission rates. Our review methodology (S.Protect) determines the score. Commercial arrangements do not influence it.
  • Blacklisted operators pay us more, and we still refuse them. Some of the highest-commission programs in the MY/SG market belong to operators with unresolved complaint histories. We do not feature them.
  • Every operator’s review is on the same scale. Higher-commission operators do not get higher scores. Every review uses the same 10-point weighted scale documented in our editorial policy.
  • Negative reviews stay published. An operator cannot pay us to remove a negative review. If they’ve had material improvements, we re-test and update the review — under our documented methodology, not in response to money.

How to spot an affiliate link on our site

Any link that says “Play at [Operator]” or “Claim Bonus” or “Sign up” is an affiliate link. Any link inside a review that goes to the operator’s homepage is also an affiliate link. Text links to other pages on our site, to regulator registries, or to third-party review databases are not affiliate links.

Whether a link is affiliate or not, the operator does not know you came from us until you register — so clicking a link does not commit you to anything.

Commission does not equal endorsement

Being featured on a “best of” list is not an endorsement of the operator. It means the operator passed our S.Protect five-stage review. Every reader is still responsible for their own due diligence:

  • Check the operator’s current license status (the license we verified may have changed)
  • Read the operator’s current bonus T&C (they change frequently)
  • Verify the payment methods still work for your region
  • Only deposit what you can afford to lose

Payments we accept

We accept payment for the following from casino operators:

  • Standard affiliate commission (CPA or revenue share, disclosed to us at signup)
  • Reasonable operator-review testing fees (only when we test the operator’s product for a specific review — never in exchange for a specific verdict)

We do NOT accept:

  • Payment for a specific ranking position
  • Payment to remove or edit a negative review
  • Payment for “sponsored content” that doesn’t disclose the operator relationship
  • Payment in cryptocurrency (all commercial arrangements are logged in bank records for tax and audit purposes)

Responsible gambling comes first
